Most useable PPM solution I've seen
scchjnsn
Pros
Once you get into the product, you quickly see that it's flexibility and ability to deliver data the way you need it is something you love more as you use the product more. Very good solution.
Cons
@task can be configured to many ways that its hard to understand what is the best way to do something.
Summary
You won't be disappointed with the product, but plan on getting best-practice orientation from an @task consultant. We use @task's integrated issue management system for all IT requests; time tracking; process management for our legal and finance groups; and standard project management functions for all ad-hoc projects. We haven't gotten into the resource management, capacity planning, or portfolio management areas of the application yet.
Stay away from Attask
Imanageprojects
Pros
It all looks good but when you get into the product if fails on several levels. The most recent release actually takes more steps to get things done than previous versions. There are better tools that do more than what you get at Attask.
Cons
Pricing and licensing options are absurd the limited license is useless and the full license is expensive compared to other products even though you can get up to 30% or more off what they quote anyone who needs reports only needs a full license.
Summary
There are other products that do the same thing and more go find them.

Updated on Sep 11, 2009
I accidentally hit two stars I was looking for the no star option
Licence Structure
creaware
Pros
Functionality looks great
Cons
@Task has a five-user minimum to initiate any new account
Summary
We spent quite a bit of time researching @Task, including reading most of the user documentation. Then when we were ready to buy we learned that they have a minimum of five licences that need to be bought in order to open an account.
There is no possibility to pay on a monthly basis, so that means paying close to USD 2,000 up front for something that we can't even try before rolling it out in our company.
All fair enough but it would have saved us a massive amount of time if we knew this restriction when we started our comparison.
Easy to use, great collaboration tool for the whole team
chusko
Pros
Seriously the easiest PM tool that I have ever found. I have seen many tools out there and @task is the only one that gives everyone high level visibility in their projects down to the smallest detail. It's a great tool if you're still using Excel and MS Project because you can transfer all of your projects and data right over.
