Organize tasks quickly and receive alerts through e-mail, IM, or SMS.
Remember The Milk began in August 2004. What started as a simple idea soon became a huge Web application with every feature imaginable. Managing tasks is generally not a fun way to spend your time. Remember The Milk was created so that you no longer have to write your to-do lists on sticky notes, whiteboards, random scraps of paper, or the back of your hand. Remember The Milk makes managing tasks an enjoyable experience.
Very comprehensive, ability to archive and retrieve lists for repeat projects, very easy to set up and use, exceedingly reliable and best of all perfect integration with mobile version
Cons
absolutley nothing
Summary
I've been using task management software for decades but was a little leary about using a web based version. Afterall, you have to depend on web access and worry about their DB going ape and losing your tasks. I've been using RTM for aobut a month now and it could be the best piece of software I 've found in decades.
The single best thing is flawless integration of the web and mobile app so you always have access to your lists. I actually use the mobile app more than the PC mode. Its just great being able to grab your phone and add an item to your list. Initially I synced with other software I was using but now just use it straight up as it is so much more somprehensive than the others.
RTM will quickly become the primary app you use in your daily life. BTW, I've had no problems with text reminders described by the previos reviewer
unreliable

Pros
decent interface, but so what?
Cons
stopped sending reminders - no help
Summary
Here's why I think RTM sucks: it's unreliable. After deciding I needed a weekly reminder, I decided to compare RTM and PingMe around 6 months ago. I set up 2 repeating tasks on each, my regular Thursday task and a daily reminder that would indicate to me whether the services were reliable and trustworthy. PingMe has worked flawlessly. RTM stopped sending me the daily reminder after 4 days. Their weekly reminder continued to work, though, until a couple weeks ago when it suddenly stopped. When I tried to get help from RTM, all I got was a BS automated response, no actual help or acknowledgment of a problem. When I had a problem with PingMe's interface, they responded to my query with help, an apology, and thanks for pointing out their instructions had been unclear.
