Easy to use with very poetic results, exactly what was missing. 3D/4D is excellent, colors as well, and the features and functions are very comfortable. It is easy to use, but the possibilities are infinite. It is lots of fun to get deeper and to use it every day.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />As someone with no artistic ability I am amazed at the results I can produce with this program; they are very subtle, particularly with the fine control over shading and colour available, and are miles ahead of any other IFS generator I've used. I look forward to the Fractint importer; there must be hundreds if not thousands of IFS fractal definitions around in that format which could be given a new lease of life. My only caveat is with the affine transformation builder; although it is far better than typing in numbers, even on a new PowerBook G4 the responsiveness to pointer actions is poor - the dragged image lags - and resizing behaves differently from what one would expect from a drawing package. Although that is unavoidable - it is an artefact of the IFS algorithms - an "undo last action" would be especially useful to allow disasters to be rolled back.
