Publisher's Description
From Andrew Glinwood:
HTML Editor is a Notepad-style HTML editor that features a toolbar for quick access to those often-used functions. This program uses syntax highlighting to make the coding of Web pages easier. It also has an Items Palette to add HTML tags to your pages, as well as a Preview in Browser button. The HTML Editor Application can open most text-based files, and has support for compiling Java apps with a Java compiler.

"Well, I loaded it...then unloaded it."
Version: HTML Editor 1.6.0.61
Pros
None I can think of.
Cons
outdated and coding knowledge is a must with this one.
Summary
This thing is outdated. I got bored with in it 10 seconds after opening it for my 1st time. I tried to give it shot but, it would not even accept my background color code. :( There are better editors out there for sure. I wouldn't waste your time with this one.

"Great HTML code editor"
Version: HTML Editor 1.6.0.61
Pros
Works by the code and has scripts available
Cons
Does not have a list of files in each folder. This helps with the coding for media scripts in pages.
Summary
Good to use. No pop ups or advertising.

"Terrible Absolutely Terrible"
Version: HTML Editor 1.6.0.61
Pros
This program is no different than a plain text editing program such as WordPad or Notepad used along with a colors page and dynamicdrive.com. If you think that this program only makes you learn a little HTML, don't buy it. It is all in plain HTML.
Cons
Being myself a website designer already, I found this program to be an identical copy of basic programs like Notepad except with a color pad built in. Don't download.

What's not to like. It works!

HTML-Kit (www at chami dot com) has more useful plugins.

-
"One bad quality"
Version: HTML Editor 1.6.0.61
Pros
Does not support unicode !! If you are using Chinese characters or other types of characters in your web pages, this editor is NOT for you!!
-
"It works but some things i can't find."
Version: HTML Editor 1.6.0.61
Cons
I have not been able to find how to put in front page.

"Powerful but simple"
Version: HTML Editor 1.6.0.61
Pros
Easy to use interface, loads pages fast, easy to navigate. I know nothing about HTML editing but I think I'll be able to update my web page (created by someone else) quickly and easily.
Cons
Don't know enough to identify any problems. But from the looks of it there aren't too many drawbacks.
