From Freebyte :HJSplit is a popular set of freeware file-splitting programs created by Freebyte.com in collaboration with various programmers. HJSplit supports many platforms. All versions are compatible with each other and allow you to exchange files between these different platforms. E.g. a file split on the Amiga can be joined on Windows 2000 and vice versa.

Pros: Easy to use. Simple Interface. Fast.
Cons: Just one tiny little thing; it would be nice to be able to disable the nag window that asks if you are sure you want to exit the program.
Summary: HJ-split was the very first file joiner/splitter that I used. And it has never crashed, and all the files it has handled have worked. It is the one I keep coming back too. Great work, and thanks Freebyte!

"There's no need for this program."
Pros: It works only you tell it EVERYTHING.
Cons: It requires people to use a new program when the programs they have (ie. WinRAR/QuickPAR) will do the same things better. Even if you are already in the right, you still have to tell this program where to go!
Summary: Siince people has a RAR/ZIP program and PAR program that does the same thing better,there's no need for this one.
If you want to use it for yourself, fine. But don't force anyone else to use it by posting files in this format! -

Pros: it is easy to use , quick and small
Cons: none that I can say as none have come up
Summary: Very easy to join multi part files with .001 it will find the others and join them quick and with no problems very well made product I like it

Pros: Very simple and easy to use.
Cons: Confused as a compressed file when first seen. Took me days to figure out it was an splitted file.
Summary: The best thing will be you don't have to install to use it. Reason for giving 4 stars is because I expect it will be better later. Will save a star for then.
