From Google:Google Calendar Sync allows you to sync events between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. You'll be able to determine the direction of information flow, as well as the sync frequency. Staying on top of your Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar events has never been easier! Keep in mind that it's not possible to sync events on secondary calendars at this time. Google Calendar Sync will only sync events from your primary Google Calendar and your default Microsoft Outlook calendar.

For anyone who relies on a digital calendar to keep them on track, Google Calendar Sync is a must-have application. The free download isn't fancy or even pretty--a simple log-in and options list comprises the system tray icon. However, the meat of the application is what it can do, which is flawlessly add details of Outlook calendar items to Google's Calendar, and vice versa if you so choose. At any time, you can make it unidirectional in the options, and how often the tool updates is entirely up to you.

"doesn't work with pre-2003 Outlook"
Pros: This is something I have been wanting for ages - the prospect of making entries in google calender anywhere then when I get home synching them with Outlook.
Cons: It wasn't to be. My Outlook is pre-2003 and not compatable.

"Still error prone and NOT for business users!"
Pros: The hope that I would be able to sync my OUTLOOK calendar. But this beta version is not working :-(
Cons: Simple calendar sync that will NOT work with business users and users with more than one calendar. NOT ready even for test. Google should be more careful with their reputation.
Summary: I installed the Google Calendar Sync and was immediately disappointed. The only option you would have is 1-way sync or two way sync. Nothing else :-( Very poor on the user experience :-(

"Excellent job syncing between Outlook & Google Calendar"
Pros: Automatically syncs Google Calendar with Outlook Calendar on a schedule you set or you can manually request a sync.
Cons: Contacts do not sync.

"Syncs outlook and google with no problem"
Pros: it takes extremely little memory, tiny program that does what it says without problems
Cons: I had to delete my google calender first, so that I could keep only my outlook items around, (it wasn't clear I had to do this) - and after that it works great
