Gladinet Cloud Desktop (GCD) supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. This is the 32-bit package. The Starter Edition can mount web storage as local folders. Users can access their web files in Windows Explorer. It delivers Web applications to desktop. To make web experience easier, it provides single sign-on to Google applications. Task Manager controls the running and pending tasks. Setting Manager customizes GCD behavior. Professional Edition contains all functions in Starter and more. Backup Manager can backup local folders to cloud storage. Google Docs backup can backup important documents in Google Docs to other cloud service providers.

What's new in this version:

Version 1.4.218 supports new API for Google Docs for Google Apps. It provides new File Type Backup, where user can backup files based on types, like Documents, Pictures, Music and Videos. Gladinet scans all user's local disks to pick up the files to back up, based on the file types defined in the task. User can mount Skydrive folders shared by friends.

"Has severe limitations"

Pros: Easy to set up and use

Cons: Maxes out at 1000 files on the free version - if you have a lot of stuff to transfer, be ready for SLOOOOW transfers and limitations. As usual - they really want you to buy the software to have something useful.

Summary: Great if you only have a few things to transfer, if you have more, shop for the best priced paid service elsewhere!
