GetScreen registers Hotkeys to print a screenshot of the desktop or the active window. The screenshot is copied to the clipboard to be pasted in any application. You can also send the screenshot directly to Word, Excel or Powerpoint or save it in a file (BMP,PNG or JPG-Format). GetScreen will start the applications if they are not running, create a new document and paste the screenshot at the current position.

Very easy to use and understand! There is absolutely no reason anybody shouldn't have this tool!

Okay, maybe the install is in a foreign language. I figured it out! It works great! I've installed it on ALL my machines.

Pros
The new installer in 1.0.33 is better. Missing DLLs are included and are registered. Most bugs in file saving dialogs are fixed. The upcoming 1.0.35 will support sending screenshots to StarOffice/OpenOffice.
Cons
The version published here (1.0.12) is still buggy. Please visit the authors homepage to get the latest Version!

"Does not do the job!"

Summary
easy to install, But had to find it after install. Does not save to file. only save to ms word doc. But with many error messages.
Tried on 3 computers with 3 dif operating systems same result.

It came up with the DLL not found error. I was expecting a good program, and pressing print screen doesn't save a picture to a file, of work in aplications.

After downloading and running, the application then informs me that it requires MSSTDFMT.dll to run. I don't have this and there is no indication as to where to find it.
