This handy utility makes creating thumbnail galleries for the Web child's play. The polished, tabbed interface is a snap to use on its own, but we still were glad Gena Web Gallery Creator offered hints to point us in the right direction. After selecting how many pictures and rows you want in your gallery, you simply add shots and reorder them to your liking. If you want to keep things simple, clicking the Build button will quickly generate your clickable thumbnail gallery. If you're looking for something a bit more fashionable, you can tweak the design by changing the background color, applying photo effects, adjusting borders and shadows, and adding captions. You can choose to upload galleries to a site via FTP, but the program won't automatically generate a URL for immediate sharing. Though that omission might turn off home users, professional Webmasters or designers will find Gena Web Gallery Creator saves them time and effort.Publisher's description

The application will help you convert your images into a professional-looking Web gallery with a few mouse clicks. In the program's interface, you can see your gallery layout instantly, rearrange pictures using drag and drop, and preview thumbnail effects. It features rollover thumbnails with visually adjustable effects (shadow, border), custom cropping (the user can visually define a crop area for each thumbnail), Quick Build (the user can rebuild only changed gallery components), different layouts of index pages (table- and frame-based), the embedded FTP client, and support for all major image file formats. It also supports slide-show generation, CD autorun, EXIF/IPTC tags and color adjustment for navigation buttons.
New features in Version 1.7.5 include updated gallery style wizard and enhanced custom tags processing.

Version: Gena Web Gallery Creator 1.7.5
Pros: pretty good features, but..
Cons: Back up your files, this program deleted all of the files on my desktop. I selected the output directory to the desktop and everything except the recycle bin was deleted and replaced with the output files. I tested this out a second time and it did it again. Too bad, cause it is not a bad program otherwise.
