French Verb Games allows users to practice conjugating French verbs. Its intuitive interface and variety of activities make it a great choice for students studying French.

The program's interface is basic, with large graphical buttons for each of the program's functions. Despite the program's name, there's nothing fancy going on here, no sounds or animations or attempts at making verb conjugation particularly fun. In fact, much of the program consists of grids of words and phrases. The program is not necessarily entertaining, but it is an effective way to learn French verbs. A built-in Help file gives detailed instructions for each function. The program has several features, including tests, word games, and crosswords. The full version includes 700 verbs, and users can customize both the verbs and the tenses that they work with at any given time. The program also includes a conjugation table with explanations for how each tense is conjugated. We found all of the features intuitive to use, and all ages should find this program helpful. However, users should be aware that the program assumes a basic familiarity with French verbs. It's not going to teach you French by itself. In conjunction with French classes or other self-study materials, however, this program is a fantastic asset.

French Verb Games has no time limit on its trial period, but it does limit trial users to 10 verbs. The program installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.
