Publisher's Description
From Silkwood Software:
Elyse is an easy to use file manager and file browser that allows you to manage files free from folder structures; a new way of organising files, revolutionary in its flexibility and simplicity for file tagging and browsing. Elyse is fast and scaleable. Hundreds of thousands of files can be arranged and browsed with ease. Duplicate file management is integrated into Elyse to eliminate duplicate files. Portability means that the database of tagged and grouped files is not tied to one computer. Assigning tags to files is easy and very powerful. Many files can be individually linked with multiple tags in a single drag and drop action. Elyse recognises that relationships exist between tags. For example: lions, ostriches and elephants are all animals. By creating a tag relationship structure to define these relationships it becomes possible to instantly create a list of all files that have an animal type tag associated with them. There is no need to attach the animal tag to every file about an animal. The concept of folders and directories is replaced in Elyse by tag nodes. Nodes are arranged in trees and give a similar effect to that of folders and directories. The difference is that the trees can be rearranged without any impact on how the files are stored or what tags are associated with each file. The same copy of one file can simultaneously appear in multiple overlapping groups of files, each group represented by a node. Free yourself from the limitations of folders with Elyse.

Pros
I really like the idea. I'd love to use this program but ... (see below)
Cons
The interface is too much like a PC program. It's very difficult to use.
Summary
A (minor) bug - it does not show the preview of Raw image files.
