Eat Right Planner

CNET Editors' review

by: CNET Staff on February 27, 2009

This free nutrition planner helps to determine which foods are beneficial and which are harmful based on your blood type, but users will be disappointed with the sparse selection of recipes.

Eat Right Planner's simple, commonplace interface is easy enough to operate. It comes preloaded with a scant two recipes to choose from. Adding your own recipes is easy, and we appreciate that the program automatically determines if the ingredient is suitable for a certain blood type. Users also can add their own food items or edit existing ones; however, it's up to you to figure out the food group the food belongs in. Records can be printed or exported into several formats, including RTF, XLS, or CSV files.

Despite a few drawbacks, this program is suitable for users of all skill levels, and health enthusiasts will appreciate what this meal planner brings to the table.
