I am so pleased that this application is available. I dear friend of mine has an ancient PC - and he wanted very much to have mp4 files of You Tube videos that were precious to him. Unfortunately, Apple's latest I-Tunes fascism has extended to preventing people from converting mp4's downloaded through I-Tunes that can be lawfully copied. At any rate, thank God for programmers who create applications so that it's possible to get around these jerks. . . I must say as well that the stone cold way that the Apple representative fielded my question on this issue didn't endear me any more to the company - and I've got at least $5000 invested in their products! Many thanks for your fine work. Well worth it! Leo

This is the ONLY one I found to work and its almost idiot proof! Once I tried the demo I bought the full version... worth every penny to me :)

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. Like the other poster, I tried the demo and bought it immediately. The ability to convert FLV files was recently added. I have spent a lot of time messing around with other options, including Vixy, VLC, and ffmpegX and had all kinds of problems and delays. This program is very quick (less than a minute to convert the average 4 or 5-minute video on my 1.5 ghz G4), easy to use, and is really a one-stop shop for my video needs as it handles wmv and avi as well. This is the kind of software that gives shareware fees a good name. HIghly recommended.

It works absolutely as advertised and makes rock solid Quick Time mpegs or mpg4s I only have two complaints - It Is Extremely slow in doing the conversion on my 600mhz G3 iMac with OSX 10.3.9 And I wish it could convert that horrible scourge - Flash Movies!!!!

I have tried several applications that claimed to be a solution -- and none were. EasyWMV is the answer. It decoded everything I threw at it. Within minutes I bought a license, and received an unlock email instantly. If WMV's are ruining your life -- this is a most welcome solution.
