CNET Editors' review
EaseUS Disk Copy makes it utterly simple to create a bootable disk for your system on a CD or DVD, USB drive, or ISO image file, and use it to copy or clone disk partitions and recover data and partitions from backups, including sector-by-sector copying for total compatibility. With it, you can perform disk operations that usually require more than one drive (even more than one computer), such as recovering a backup of your main drive.
EaseUS Disk Copy is fully portable, so it runs as soon as you click its program file without having to be installed, even from a USB drive or similar device. The program's disk wizard is a simple dialog box with three choices for creating a bootable drive, with drop-down lists for multiple destinations: USB, CD/DVD, and Export ISO (you browse to select a destination for an ISO file for further use). We inserted a blank DVD-R into our disk tray, and EaseUS Disk Copy's built-in burning software recognized it. We selected CD/DVD and pressed Proceed. Immediately the software began analyzing our system and burning our bootable drive. The whole process was finished quickly. We removed the disk and labeled it, since a bootable disk you can't find or identify doesn't help much when your system is kaput. We reinserted the disk, rebooted out system, accessed the boot menu, and selected CD-ROM. As it should, our system booted to EaseUS Disk Copy's menu.
At this point we could choose to continue into Disk Copy, boot from the first hard drive, or select an additional partition to boot from (handy for multi-OS systems). We selected Disk Copy, and the program's disk copying and cloning wizard opened. This wizard walked us through each step of choosing a disk or partition as well as operations and options. The sector-by-sector option takes more time and uses more space, since it creates a one-for-one clone of your disk.
For a simple, free way to create bootable disks to use with backups and to copy your hard drives and partitions, it's hard to do better than EaseUS Disk Copy.

"After re-install of windows will not activate"
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
Clean user interface
Cons
After re-install of windows will not activate
The email support address doesn't work.
I mount a system backup from a different machine. It mounts ok, but cannot be accessed.
I get "F:\ is not accessible - media is write protected"
I had tested the mount on the first machine with no problem.
With incremental backup the result was success, but mounting the image, succeeds but cannot be accessed. So every day you need to try the mount, and delete the incremental backup, the run the backup again.
I haven't had any luck restoring Windows 8 from a backup.Summary
Don't pay for this. Use the free version, and test recovery on a test machine.
I posted this review for the wrong product, I was talking about Easeus ToDo Backup Home.

"Easy to use, but..."
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
I found the software very user friendly.
Cons
However, when I plugged the disk in after about three hours of cloning, something had happened to the boot sector and it wouldn't boot.

"Can't handle multiple partitions"
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
Didn't use it long enough to find out
Cons
The first backup I tried to an NAS was about 200GB across 8 partitions (yes, I'm a developer and I partition my disks accordingly). After 2 hours it had backed up 288MB and showed 105 hours to go. Looking at the performance monitor, the disk was running 100% (and virtually nothing else could be done) but disk transfer rate was almost non-existent - in the neighborhood of a few mb/minute (normal is > 10mb/sec.). Obviously the program issued enough requests that the disk just thrashed trying to keep up and couldn't transfer data effectively. Cancelling the backup and the system returned to normal.
Summary
Maybe it's ok if you have one or two partitions, but with multiple ones it's completely worthless. No idea how restore works - I never got that far.

"Handy tool with basic layout."
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
- Straight forward instructions
- Copied everything down to the drive letter
- Easy as 1_2_3Cons
- Saving file a bit cumbersome
- Initial load/start-up seemed to hangSummary
Couldn't have been easier to work with this software. I had both my computers connected to the internet in order to read the instructions while downloading the file and completing the operation. I also had to restart the computer I worked on a couple of times as the program seemed to hang at a certain point in the beginning. Results were outstanding!
