This single-function application is a reliable and practical tool for recovering deleted files on your system.
Data Recovery requires no installation and runs in a neatly designed, straightforward interface. The program scans a user-selected drive and displays removed files in a sortable list. For a quick search, specify part of the file name. The list contains file details such as folder, file type, size, and attributes. You can then choose which files you want to recover and specify the destination of the recovered files. Data Recovery also has a wipe feature for completely removing the located files.
There aren't any bells and whistles, but users looking for an efficient and reliable file recovery tool will find this freeware handy and useful.

Version: Data Recovery 2.3.1
Pros: Not having to install any software is a bonus. I had little faith that I'd find anything I was looking for, but then hundreds of deleted photo files reappeared on my flash drive. I was impressed.
Cons: It's not all that easy to figure out how to use it even though it's very simple looking.

Pros: No installer, great for run from network and restore to network in order to minimize disk writes.

"Works, but Barely; I recommend Pandora Recovery instead"
Pros: It works, barely.
Cons: It's buggy. I spent a good deal of time clicking on the buttons finding that they weren't doing anything when clicked. But oddly they worked once after clicking 3 to 8 times.
It lacks features (e.g. filtering) that are always available in these programs. Thus, once it's done scanning I had to scan through thousands of results (windows deletes a lot of files automatically) to find the ones I wanted. Fortunately it at least allowed sorting by path which helped me find what I was looking for.
I've tried out 4 different undeleter programs today. I definitely recommend Pandora Recovery because its fast, completely free, easy to use, and has basically all the options you could hope for.

"not easy to understand how to use"
Pros: Free
Cons: It took playing around with it for a few minutes to finally figure it out and retrieve a file that I needed to restore

"It help me to undelete photos from my flash card"
Pros: I like it a lot because it is free and it allows me to undelete my deleted photos from my FAT32 memory card
