A fully stocked and solidly designed burning application such as DVD Power Burner should be a must-have for any computer user. It boasts a polished, well-designed interface based on the style of Windows XP, an impressive feature set as well as adequate DVD-burning speeds. The program's standard features include the ability to burn and erase DVDs, create ISO files, and create audio, video, and data discs. In addition, DVD Power Burner earns its "power" moniker by including advanced functions such as composing DVDs and packet writing. As a professional touch, the program supports IFO and VOB files. For audio files, we were impressed with the program's ability to rip CDs with good quality, and encode for a number of popular audio file formats (WAV, MP3, OGG, and so on.) To complete this impressive package, DVD Power Burner includes a label designer for your ripped CDs and DVDs that worked well in our tests. The only drawback we discovered is the program doesn't include a help file to assist beginners in the process; that said, the program interface is intuitive enough that we feel this omission doesn't detract from the overall quality of the program.

  Cons: Cluttered and complicated interface. Was unable to load file to burn DVD, even after following instructions in help file.

  "Your system gets burned"

  Cons: First off, avoid any software that hasn't been updated in almost two years and the developer has no support forum. BAD SIGNS.

  Uninstall this app and you will get a blue screen and Windows will not boot. This is because the uninstall does not remove the Achernar driver filter registry entries. Check the Microsoft KB under Easy CD Creator errors and it will show you how to repair your registry. Otherwise avoid this piece of "burnware".

  "i wish there was a negative star for this one"

  Pros: NONE

  Cons: I downloaded this and restarted, would NOT let me boot into windows, safe mode or anything else, could not fix with Automated System Recovery, had to REFORMAT MY COMPUTER!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

  "DO NOT get this unless you want to destroy your computer!"

  Pros: Sounded good from the ad.

  Cons: Website has NO support, faqs, forums, or anything. Installed it on our company server so users could evaluate it and it could not see any of our "top of the line" DVD drives so I uninstalled it. It destroyed the registery, corrupted MANY system files, and flagged as a Virus. Server was trashed. 3 days later after a complete rebuild by our IT dept. we were back in business at a loss of Thousands of dollars in lost business. The choice is yours if you want to download this "Bomb"!
