"Not bad! UI is slick, and really neat themes"
Version: Colloquy 2.3
Pros
Themes are pretty nifty, though I stick with the standard one.
Cons
What are those wierd notification bubble things? They need a bit of work. Otherwise, the rest of the program is great.

"easy to use, Bonus that it's free!"
Version: Colloquy 2.3
Pros
I like this chat client, it's easy to use and there is an iPod touch App identical to it.
Cons
While it has several support IRC rooms i've found it difficult to get anyone to take the time to explain the operation to me. Admittedly, a former mIRC user I'm comparing apples [hehe] to oranges; I would love support that I could easily understand.
Summary
Since converting from PC to Mac I've tried both Xchat and Colloquy and both worked but hands down Colloquy is the best. Besides it supports the iPod Touch.
