  Pros

  I have played Carom3D for 4 years. The concept is great: play online carom against your friends from all around the world. Better players get higher levels.

  So many updates and changes. Unfriendly players. Harsh moderators.

  very realistic physics, good graphics, aweful shooting- and aimingsystem, much game modes (snooker, 3cushion, 8ball, 9ball for example), everytime players online (about 2500-3000), different servers also for beginners, U CAN PLAY COMPLETE FOR FREE (u can buy other cues, blog decoration and so on,but its not neccessary), recording of single shots and replays possible, now official in WCG (World Cyber Games), also in ESL, if you are familiar with the control its extremely addictive (i have 40.000 Games now!), boards which are moderated by developers and mods, extra board for announcing cheaters, and: no real cheats for this game... only very transparent cheats and people who are helping each other by loosing. Definitely no aiming tools or something like this!

  too much new features insteed fixing old bugs, no rejoin after disconnect (u lose your game), much times you have disconnect cause of bugs in program or much lag cause of overloaded servers. moderators are not very involved in helping newbies (if one ask for help they just going offline most time), cheater bans took 2 long, no direct answers if u post new ideas in developer board, if u pay for playing (by buying cues, blog-stuff, or point-doublers you dont have much advantage, so you dont have the feeling you get something for paying), neoact (the developer) makes enormous changes to the game and gameplay without asking the players (iam sure 1/4 has paid in past or is paying at present for the game).

  Since the end of 2006, new updates radicaly change the game. Neoact complicated the way to play and have to constantly correct bugs. There is a lot less fun to play now. <p>Take note that it seems that there is no protection against cheaters and ID stealers. *** <p> <p>Depuis la fin de 2006, les nouvelles mises a jour ont radicalement changees la facon de jouer. En voulant raffiner le jeu, Neoact l'ont tout simplement complique et ils sont constamment a reparer les "bugs" provoques. Prenez aussi note que ce jeu ne semble presenter aucune protection contre les tricheurs et les voleurs d'identites. *** <p> <p>PS. : Vous avez aussi surement remarque que C|Net ne reconnait pas le francais !!!

  It was a good game until version 3.94 now they changed everything and its not fun anymore. You have to pay for everything. They only want money and dont listen to the players. When you learn how to do good shots they change the rules all the time. It WAS a good game, now is trash.

  It is pretty good soild billard game.Very fun when you can get it to work fuildy.Small download :P.Free :D

  Cons

  I got alot of lag while playing this game :/ and somtimes when I broke it totaly messed up everthing. If it didn't have the bugs it would have gotten a 4 star :P
