• STEEP Learning curve, well worth it.

  1. The price. $34.95 might be steep in a world where everyone wants everything for free, but let's face it- I have gotten more value out of this than most Xbox 360 games I've paid nearly double for. I'm also happy to contribute to a smaller developer who actually listens to his customer base for features in future games, and fixes problems that arise. 2. Micro-management. Sometimes you want to have control over EVERYTHING. And you do. 3.The ability to install full real world mods created by a loyal community comparable to that of Fire Pro or other modding realms. 4. You can even have some fun as a 'watcher,' simming to your heart's content and seeing how the game's world unfolds.

  Cons

  In an effort to be objective, here's a couple things I don't like about the game. 1. Micro-management. Sometimes you DON'T want so much control. I mean... Do I really want to spend time selecting specific matchups for house shows just to find chemistry notes that may or may not exist? 2. eLicense. It's a pain. 3. No mac version 4. Brian Pillman dies 2 months into every game I play, I swear.

  Summary

  I don't really review stuff but it bothers me that this game has such a low rating because too many people are judging it for what it's not rather than what it is. What it is is a phenomenal "game" that takes a lifetime to master. It takes a lot of work to learn the ins and outs of the game, but if you're into it it's worth it. Anyone reviewing this after ONLY playing the TRIAL of the game doesn't have a freakin' clue! Take a chance. Unlike some of the people here I have actually PLAYED this game from beginning to 'end,' and you more than get your money's worth. If you need something visual, get Fire Pro or WWE '12/'13, but if you want a focus on information, statistics, and booking, this is your game.

  Pros

  Good as a game, but both TEW and it's freeware predessesor EWR are both closer to wrestling simulation games than to actual wrestling simulators.

  Cons

  Not a real simulator, more of s strategy game

  Summary

  If you want a true Simulator than download TNM7 (sure it's not free), but it gives full matches and better overall qaulity matches as well, and you can see matches in their entirely actually playing out on a text screen and not just who wins or brief match summaries. You can even book what move ends the match, and you have more control over what goes on. But as a game, I give it four stars, as a simuator I would have to give it two at best.

  Summary

  Good simulator, but not as good as his free one, but just like the free one, the matches lack realism (when wrestlers do DVDs when they don't do them in real life it takes away from that match realism. But Good sim.
