At some of the reviews, not the software. Those claiming it didn't work need to think- perhaps the reason was that their setup was already correct- it can only improve those that aren't.

No idea- I refused to install it.

Checked the DL before opening or installing, and Malaware detected an infection of pup.downloader.

my connection went from 1.58 mbps to 5.27 mbps! thats impressive, and it took less than five mins to do.
Cons
not really a con, but after i restarted the computer my wireless router said it detected a router behind the router...i just clicked the resolve button and everything works fine.

great product, works well. just read the instructions and you will be done in no time.

I installed it and did the "readme" thing then wnet to the window where I clicked "retrieve current registry values," and I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Though it says it is for XP I don't believe it. I should watch my dates...this software is eight years old. Don't waste your time here.

After downloading and installing the program..I noticed an AT LEAST 40% increase in my speed.To confirm this,I downloaded and installed the program on my wifes computer that is WI-Fi networked to my computer and saw the same speed increase there too.
Cons
Not very user friendly. Kinda hard to negotiate if you aren't computer savy. But the way around this is to print readme file and follow the directions.

If your computer is slow on the I-Net...download and use this program...IT WORKS!!!<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 16, 2009<p/>maybe you should have heeded the name ..."CABLEnut"!!! If your using Dial-Up, why did you even bother trying it? Dial-Up is so...how did you put it...OUTDATED and is SOOOO unstable. The program worked GREAT for me with an at least 40% increase in CABLE internet speed!!!

Loaded it ... selected the canned setting for DSL fast ... rebooted ... almost 3X speedup on the Dell 1390 wireless card interface.

Sped up my connection quick! Just use the README to set up according to your OS and connection speed! My webpages are loading almost instantly now. BIG improvement! Videos load in seconds. No more waiting!
