Developer’s Description

organize CDs and DVDs and find any file on them instantly
This is an application I coded up to help me organize my growing CD-R collection. I have a lot of problems keeping track of my CDs that I burn. So a couple of years ago, I coded up a little python script that scanned the contents of disks I burned and gave me an ID for them so I could just write on the disk "Disk #22" or whatever. Then, when I later needed say "Cool file" on disk 22 I would search the DB for "Cool file" and get the ID number, then get the disk. Eventually, I gave a copy to my wife, who loved it and said "You should really publish this for other people to use! It's awesome!" So here it is!
