AutoMate is more than an application--it's practically a platform. Its raft of features relieves the burden of monotonous tasks. The clean interface easily manages numerous tasks and carefully guides you through adding new ones. If a problem occurs, you can refer to the extensive documentation. AutoMate can run any combination of actions triggered by conditions, such as time, keystrokes, and system-configuration changes, even if the PC is logged off. Actions include running a program, opening a Web page, sending keystrokes to an application, clicking a button, downloading a file, and running a database query. Triggers include the start, end, or nonresponse of Windows processes or services, as well as start-up events, such as a specified user logging on. Administrators can control an AutoMate client from any machine on a TCP/IP network and send tasks to several computers at once. Automation Markup Language and BASIC engines let advanced users script complex tasks with data-formatting and retrieval capabilities. AutoMate isn't for everyone, but the program will pay off big for corporate users who need to automate complex tasks.Publisher's description
From Network Automation :AutoMate 7 automates manual tasks and streamlines processes. It replaces legacy batch files, scripts and custom application development, enabling complete IT Process automation without writing a single line of code. Benefits of AutoMate 7: AutoMate 7 provides organizations with greater control of their networks and operations, enhancing security and reliability. With its "no code" approach, development costs can be slashed up to 50% while minimizing long-term code maintenance problems. Organizations use AutoMate 7 to dramatically improve the capability and productivity of their workforces. "No Code" Drag-and-Drop Task Development AutoMate provides an incredibly easy-to-use, intuitive interface for developing automation applications. The basic building blocks are called actions, which are plain-English, drag-and-drop, fill-in-the-blank tools developers use to build AutoMate Tasks. Developers drag-and-drop actions in AutoMate Task Builder to build a series of AutoMate Steps which collectively make up the task. AutoMate 7 can: accelerate information flows; facilitate a cohesive organization; free employees; eliminate code, reduce errors; centralize resources; curb limitations.
