Ashampoo Internet Accelerator analyzes your computer and optimizes all the relevant settings with a single click. You don't need to know anything, just select the automatic optimizer and you're done. The new version also includes an Internet connection speed test tool so you can test your performance directly. In addition to automatic optimization advanced users can still access all the individual settings and adjust them manually.

Version: Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 3.20
Pros: Good menu, and easy to follow.
Cons: I missed being able to see what was happening. I would like a fine tune of the MTU so could readily see a peak in performance. I use broadband cable with netgear CG814WG v3 modem.
Summary: With such a critical tuneup like this I believe that you need to see what is hapening under the hood. I am unsure if the speed has improved as some downloads now seem much slower (from Europe) but I think the speed from my ISP seems faster.

Pros: doesb't take much memory you can pay and get actualzation every certain periods
Cons: didn't work for me

"Guten Tag, it makes me really glad."
Pros: Outstanding product, to put it on a simplest way. Truly, without any doubt it has given me an opportunity to squeeze the features of my laptop. And I am not an computer technician at all ;-)
Cons: It sounds like a joke but there are no "cons" to me at all.

"speed test ok but hard to tell if improvement occured."
Pros: The speed test, should have run it before optimizing to see change.
