"Works, but is a link to Article Video Robot"

    September 10, 2011   |   By wizoomer95

Version: Article to Video Converter 1.0

    Pros

It works, and you can use it without signing up.

    Cons

The program is simply an iframe to Article Video Robot, an online subscription service for the purpose of this program. You don't have to log in or sign up for a free trial of the service, but the program itself is misleading.

    Summary

If you want to create a video from an article, one way you can do it is by:
    1. Create a .txt file of the document/article. You an use Notepad for this. Split it into extremely short paragraphs and/or single sentences. Make sure you hit the return key where you want a new slide.
    2. Open this file with PowerPoint.
    3. Edit the Presentation to suit your needs.
    4. Save it as a PowerPoint, and again as JPEG files.
    5. Import all the slides into Windows Movie Maker (Install Windows Movie Maker 2.6 if you're running Windows 7.).
    6. Extend all the slide's duration, and narrate the timeline.
    7. Export the project to a .wmv file.
    8. Upload the video to YouTube (optional).

This way, you don't have to install this bogus software, and you can do it all for FREE (assuming you have PowerPoint on your PC).

Otherwise, if you want to avoid the hassle of the process in Windows Movie Maker, simply save it as a PowerPoint in step 4, and use a program called RealShow (here on CNET.com) to do steps 5-7 for you!!

    "Didn't enjoy using it much..."

    July 22, 2011   |   By reviewsquare

Version: Article to Video Converter 1.0

    Pros

Has a useful feature, but only in certain ways.

    Cons

The videos with too much information don't attract many people.

    Summary

People like information simple and in smaller amounts. They're sick of all the information lately. So I think its more important to make videos that are simple and self explanatory.
