Free AOMEI Partition Assistant Lite Edition is brand-new server partition software which is specially designed for Windows Server 2003/2008 (R2)/2012(R2)/2016, Windows Home Sever 2011, Windows SBS Server 2003, 2008, 2011, and allowing free for home and business use.

It supports basic partition operations, such as: create/delete/format partitions, copy partition, align partition, split partition, wipe disk, wipe partition, change drive letter or label, convert GPT and MBR disk, convert primary and logical partition, disk surface test to find out the bad sector on your HDD. And advanced partition management: extend/shrink partition (including system partition), and move partition. It supports all Windows Server or non-server OS, and all storage devices, such as: flash drive, HDD, SSD, raid array in GPT and MBR disk style. This Lite Edition has made up the shortage of the built-in disk management in Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016. In Windows Server 2003 users could not shrink volume and extend system partition, and in Windows Server 2008 or 2012 users could not move partition and this also limit the other functions-extend volume and shrink volume. However with the help of AOMEI Partition Assistant Lite Edition uses needn't complain the shortage of the snap-in disk management any more and replace it with AOMEI Partition Assistant forever.

Pros
sometimes, after we delete some important data, it is not exactly disappear from computer. With the help of wipe disk/partition, it can keep my data safe, which cannot be recovered by the recovery software.
Cons
no big problem, just lack of other functions, but it's reasonable for freeware.

It's a wonderful choice for Server users to mange their disk partition. We can resize/move/create/delete partition, wipe partition, convert primary and logical partition, etc. During the process of operation, we do not lose our data on hard disk. And we can just follow the guidance to finish the operation. It's very easy to use, even for a green hand.

This software is way more powerful than Disk Management and it's also very easy-to-use. We've successfully resized our system partitions on every computer in our office because the guy who purchased the computers last month did not allocate enough space for each. And my collegue also used this software to migrate his system to a new SSD.BTW this freeware is free for business use too.

Pros
We had been running out of disc space on C: drive on Small Business Server. A colleague suggested we tried Partition Assistant Lite which we did with some trepidation as Microsoft SBS user instructions said it could not be done. We were fully backed up so we tried and it worked fine

You need to be patient - it took close on 10 hours in all

Pros
Easy wizards, Its Free (no idea why !!!), it can give commercial software a run for money. Extremely versatile. I added around 3 G.B of disk space to my Primary partition (C:\) from the other partition, which inbuilt windows Disk Managements system was unable to do !! That too without a restart .
Cons
Since its free, cant blame for anything......Kudos all the way !!
