"Great Program to Avoid Windows System Crashes!"

Works Very Well on older Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT systems
Cons
Last update was version 3.6.1 way back on September 20, 2002. The program author's website states it is "not compatible with Vista," and has not been updated for Windows 7 and/or 64-bit operating systems.
Summary
I use the program AntiCrash to avoid system "crashes" and definitely recommend it to my coworkers, friends and family who use Windows programs. I installed it many years ago and my system has completely crashed only once or twice that I can remember since then. Prior to installing this little useful utility, it seemed like my computer always crashed just at the wrong moment, causing me to lose all unsaved work!
When a crash occurs, AntiCrash fixes it automatically thereby preventing the crashes right before they occur. As far as I know, it is also the only software capable of effectively intercepting both blue screens and freezes and then automatically repairing them.
The program has several useful features (besides avoiding system crashes) including my personal favorite; "AutoRepair" which is a completely separate feature which can find and repair thousands of thousands of problems, all quickly and easily. Also the program has feature called "Lifebelt" will automatically backup a copy of all open files if a crash occurs, making it sure for you to always recover all the files you were working on.
Important Note: AntiCrash is not FREEWARE (unfortunately). It is a shareware program. The trial version will run only 20 times on your computer, and will expire. I think it cost about 30 bucks (when I bought it in March, 2003) to get the "unlock code" from the developer but it was the best money I ever spent. The frustration of occasional; but always very inconvenient system crashes is now [happily] a distant memory.
