Much more than a simple pop-up blocker, Ad Annihilator scores all aces. The program not only installs as a colorful toolbar in your Web browser, it also lets you access all functions via a right click.
In our tests, the application capably killed all pop-ups, banners, and Flash ads we threw its way, and you can choose to block or allow all three types of ads from particular sites. We appreciate that Ad Annihilator can eliminate many banners or pop-ups at once by using a string or a specific keyword as a cue to block, and the ability to save your customized settings as a project is a nice plus. Once you switch to the advanced mode, you'll uncover a whole new world of functionality, as Ad Annihilator features an enhanced cache that lets you browse offline Web pages.
If you're digging through a long list of offline sites, you can easily find what you're looking for by searching by name, content, and date. We can heartily recommend this program to those who need an ad killer, an offline browser, or both.

"Nice but capability can be improved"
Pros: Great for those who are over-bothered with advertisements.
Cons: It doesn't catch all them.

"ok but does not stop everything"
Pros: nice interface, and did stop some popups.
Cons: i tried this for a week but the only problem is about 50% of popups came through anyway so nearly defeated the point of the software.

"excellent tool for banner blocking"
Pros: the most exciting feature is ability to point to the banner with the mouse, right-click it and choose "block banner". Not only does the banner disappear before my very eyes instantly, but it also suggests the dialog with the list of urls for possible banner addresses. My practice made me certain that this approach indeed works and is stunningly effective. Moreover the banners are not blocked forever, I can always bring any banners back if I wish

Pros: Nothing I can think of.
Cons: This application did not work, and did not block ANY ads whatsoever. Also, it is virus-like software; the uninstaller did not work, so I had to go in manually to delete it and it still shows up in my program list! Be warned...this is a shady product.
Summary: Doesn't work--not even the uninstaller.
