AVI DivX MPEG to DVD Converter & Burner converts your movie files from a wide range of formats (AVI, XVID, MPEG, and DIVX) to compliant DVD structures (VOB and IFO). It converts your batch files into a compliant DVD video set of files and burns it on a DVD blank media DVD+-R(W). The aspect ratio can be automatically selected, or forced to a specific format. The program works for NTSC and PAL video format and create automatically chapters - multiple audio tracks are supported - and burn them to a DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, and DVD-RW, so that you can play your movies on DVD player. The interface lets you set begin-time and end-time for each video and batch convert. Version 5.2.9 include updates and bug fixes.
Version: AVI DivX MPEG to DVD Converter & Burner 5.2.9
The only software on CNET for this type of conversion that allows you to actually finish a job for free in trial. Appears to work, and it has a number of nice options.
From the results of my conversions, it was rather slow and it missed several frames and also lost its audio. I am not quite sure why it did this. I do not believe it was a problem with the video file, as I checked and it seem to be perfectly fine.
