Used Acoustica Audio Converter Pro for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Despite a few negatives, this audio ripper and converter gives you a nice degree of control over your finished files. However, we didn't appreciate Acoustica Audio Converter Pro automatically associating itself with every audio file on our PC without asking permission. You can use the main interface to choose among WAV, MP3, OGG, and WMA formats, select audio quality, and enable VBR, and we were glad to see the inclusion of normalization, a feature not always found in this type of program. Once you've specified all settings for your output files, you simply right-click on any song or on your CD drive to begin converting or ripping. The CD ripper did a good job of grabbing ID3 tags from the Internet, and the ability to specify how many PC resources to allow the program to use is a nice plus. Multitaskers will find this feature handy. If you don't mind this program's tendency to associate itself with all your tunes, it makes a quality pick.
