"ABC Inventory is a comprehensive and reliable product"

Pros
Many useful features, great phone and email support for licensed users (we have recently bought a license after using it for free for a year). Without the license, we used their forum. It was alright too.

Found that it was not very user friendly. Lack some of the simpler way for trying to manage inventory. Needed sales quote then sales order to reduce inventory and also po required to receive inventory. Needed a lot of time to find short cuts

I have download both inventory systems from cNet. The ABC has more functions related to production, and AID is more for buying, selling,and product distribution, I find both Almyta products very useful. Also free license does not hurt at all.
Cons
Some fuctions that I had in mind were not available, but those are too specific to me on anoher hand. But I am an optiminst and hope to have them free of charge in the future.
Summary
I recommend this software just for trying or for use. One package come with a full blown accounting module, customer/supplier returns. another contains Work Orders, Bill of Materials. Both packages support barcodes, serial numbers, expiration dates.

I find this software very helpful. I can scan barcodes into it and print barcoded labels and packing slips.
Cons
would be nice to hide or show thick menu at the top.

I have bought a multi-user upgrade. Runs very well on the network. This software is not for single guy/gal business.
