  Where can i start.... <p>ok. This program is fishy. Adblaster Virus found in firewall! DONT INSTALL! <p>TOTALLY nonfunctional! <p>it crashes almost any computer! <p>It Opens unused ports! IT SHOULD DO THE OPPOSITE!!!!!!!

  I cant belieave it this has never once happened to me right after i downloaded a program . I did the download and the same sec i opened this up it was like a worm . it crashed my computer frozz everything up. so i rebooted thinking ill give it another chance no such luck frozz my computer again . i have 1 GB OF mem and $2000 in my high price del . this was not my computer it was this damn program . Dont get it .

  In my opinion, it does nothing it says it does. You can't even set you settings you want. The screen never shows up. Once you start it you can't close it or do anything. NOTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Pros

  Zone Protect is a good bi-directional firewall that will monitor all incoming and outgoing traffic and will alert you for access permission if such traffic is detected. It also has the ability to hide your presence from intruders by completely blocking access to the ports that are used for the transfer of information.

  Cons

  Not as Good as Adorons Firewall and doesnt have much configuration opetions well considering its only 300kb

  I have been using this firewall for several yrs now. It notifies me that something fishy has been detected and asks if I would like to allow it or deny it, and if u do allow it, it gives the the option to remove it, or block it or even question it to access. As for it being free, it is free till you wish to upgrade it to the Pro version, which offers allot more protection, but for the casual user to the net, this I highly reccommend. My brother uses it also. And was the one who reccommended it to me.

  Cons

  Well it could be better in giving you more info. on the details of a certain thing it may find. when you click the more info box, sometimes I find that it really doesn't give u allot of info. and u need to do a much broader search on Google or another search engine to find out what it is.
