Download and convert YouTube videos.

YouTube Video Grabber is a Shareware Mac OS X application that can be used to download YouTube flash video files and convert them to different video formats (including Quicktime).

To use the application, simply enter a YouTube video web page URL into the "YouTube URL" text entry field and a preview of the video will be displayed. To download the video's flash file to hard disk, press the "Download FLV" button. To convert the video's flash file to a different format, adjust the conversion settings as desired and press the "Convert FLV" button.

I get the movie in the video preview screen, but when I click Download FLV button nothing happens... am I doing something wrong??

Pros
You don't even have to give embed info, just the URL. It downloads as an FLV file. Opened right up in quicktime for me. Saved it as .mov.

So far it has worked without a problem.

Downloads --AND-- converts files from .flv! RECOMMENDED 100%

You have to wait 15 seconds for it to be opened up unless you buy the full ($20) version, which sucks.

How knows, it never ran, and they refused to refund my money

I had a "trial" version that worked. After a time, I could no longer use it until I purchased key. When I purchased the key, it did not unlock the software. I was told to re-install the new version. That never opened. When I contacted them I was told to use a new key. I never could because the program crashed before I could enter the key. This is the kind of software that gives shareware a bad name.
