Yardbirds plays audio streams (MP3/AAC/AAC+)(*1) from the internet radio stations, and also plays music files(*2) on WebDAV servers directly. If you feel listening to the radio boring, you can listen to your favorite music on the WebDAV server. Or vice versa. It provides a better look-and-feel, mimicking analog audio devices. It has 100 radio stations preset as samples. It supports various playlist formats (pls/m3u/asx/xspf/webloc). You can easily add more preset radio stations with built-in tuner/iTunes file sharing/Open In.... Basically, it preserves preemptive playback mode if the list of playable items(radio stations/music files) is displayed. The view will not be changed arbitrarily during playback sequence. Try to maximize the size of stream buffer if you encounter frequent buffering. Please note that responsiveness of starting playback will be decreased by this operation. In case of listening to the music on the WebDAV server, especially iPhone3GS/iPod users, listeners might be forced to adjust some resources(*3). In most cases, you can cancel current processing while rotating indicator being shown.
