Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 is the latest iteration of this popular Mac OS DVD burning app. It is available from the App Store as well as numerous download sites. The full version of Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 costs $39.99 and installs easily.

Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 lets you create your own video DVDs complete with basic video editing, special effects, titles, and DVD menus. With support for most video formats (including AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX and others), Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 can handle your video files from almost any video camera or operating system. Creating a DVD starts with laying out the video clips in the correct order with editing tools, then adding audio if you want it, as well as laying out the menu system from one of over 30 templates provided. You can add watermarks to your videos as well as create thumbnail video clips on the menus, which are all nice features. When it comes to burning the result, Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 can take advantage of multi-core CPUs (something some other burning tools don't do) and create a DVD in record time.

We used Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 to create several DVDs from travel videos, as well as a corporate product video, and it worked well. The templates provided give you enough variety that you can find something for most tastes. We had no issues with the stability of the product, and Xilisoft DVD Creator 7 was easy to learn. Don't waste your money

Summary
Just wanted a simple DVD burning app, so I could put a .mov onto a DVD that would play in a set-top player. I kept getting errors while the DVD was burning, and also got an unexpected quit while importing files. Tried to contact support to get a refund because they claim to have a money back guarantee. I haven't heard anything in 3 days.

Software has a decent selection of DVD menus to choose from. Great video resolution in DVD playback.

Poor customer and sales service. Only interface is through email. Audio sync issue.
Summary
I'd purchased this product because of the reviews. I needed to transfer my finished product from iMovie on to DVD. The only issue I had was the audio would not sync with the video. I emailed customer support twice and have yet to hear from them. Their website boast that they will respond within 24hours - yeah, right! I finally requested my money back by emailing sales support. I have yet to hear from them as well.

I tried to add several videos which were not in the same format into the software. It burnt all of them into one disc. It is easy to burn DVD without converting them to DVD compatible format first.

It works well on my Mac, converts fast and creates quality DVDs, with sound and picture in sync. it also enable to clip video, and effects, add music and create own DVD menu.

But i got an email from maczot.com (today) which do waveinsight dvd creator for mac promtion, it's web price is 29.99, but only 5.99 on maczot!(23th-24th) So i just purchased it and have no time to test xilisoft dvd creator for mac. May be you guy can tell me whether this app is good or not. Thanks in advence!

Burn WMV videos on MAC

It supports all the formats i know. With it , i can burn WMV on my MAC. There are many templates embeded in it too.

It will be perfect, if i can move the box on the menu.
