XF is an inexpensive 3D finite element analysis platform for static stress analysis of plates and extruded shapes. It is designed to be simple to use. You don't need to know anything about 3D solid modeling to use it, just a basic knowledge of 2D drafting. You just draw the 2D profile of the shape, enter the thickness or depth, and the 3D model will be created with the click of a mouse. Then just add loads, constraints and material properties, and the analysis is ready to go.
