Get a collection of public domain images for use in word processors and optimized for printing.

WPClipart is a collection of high-quality public domain images specifically tailored for use in word processors, and optimized for printing on home/small office inkjet printers. There are thousands of color graphic clips as well as hundreds of illustrations and photographs. As of Thursday, 05/15/2008 there are 21,005 images. Download in an installer which includes all clip art plus a useful (though not necessary) viewer/editor. Version 5.8 added clip art and photos and corrected inability to show jpeg as well as PNG images.

FULL of images, pretty much anything you need

tons and tons of images. easy to download and install. yeah, it's 656 MB. it took me about an hour to download, but it was worth it. one click to copy image to clipboard for use in documents.
Cons
some of the pictures are cheesy, but what do you expect for FREE? there are not many photos in here, mainly drawings.

Good way to grab tons of free, public domain clip art
Cons
Download time can be excruciating unless you take the time to cook a meal or settle in for that well-deserved afternoon nap. The viewer is efficient, but lack of a search function makes finding what you want quite a task at times.

This is an amazing collection of Clipart. If you do any type of publishing this is a must have. It's all public domain so you can use it any way you like. All files are .png format.The viewer it comes with has some nice features but no search. I really don't have any cons but a few things to keep in mind:<p>-Massive download 2hr+ on high speed connection<p>-It installs all the clipart in the Program File with the viewer<p>-If your tight on space you could burn it to disc and delete the clipart, just leave viewer on your computer<p>I went to the homepage for this program It's one guy who does computer repair and software design check it out.
