Work Time Studio is a windows based desktop application which allows you to organize, manage, track and prioritize your time, projects, tasks and notes. It also monitors, records and reports your progress through all stages of your work and activities. Its user friendly interface allows you to track the time you spend on any of your different activities with very little interaction, and without breaking up your current concentration.Report generation in Work Time Studio provides you with a wide variety of different reports. You'll know exactly where your time is being spent and allocated. Reports can be customized and saved as report templates, allowing you quick access to your favorite reports.

Work Time Studio's prioritizer allows you to determine quickly which of your activities to tackle next. The prioritized list can order your projects and tasks by multiple criteria, including due date, priority, difficulty, and estimated time, allowing you to find the best task to tackle at any given time. What's more, you can apply many filters to the list to narrow down the selection of projects and tasks which you're interested in. You can even drag projects or tasks from the Prioritizer to the Activity Calendar, to schedule a time to work on them.

Work Time Studio provides a Studio Bar, a compact, dock-able window interface to Work Time Studio, which can be docked to the top or bottom of your monitor. The Studio Bar takes up little desktop space while displaying all the time related information of your current task, and giving you quick access to almost all Work Time Studio's features. The Studio Bar, supports multiple monitor systems, allowing you to dock the bar to any monitor.Scheduled Events provide scheduling features and allow you to to set reminders to yourself. Events can be recurring, with a wide variety of recurring options.

Intuitive to use time tracking tool

Pros
Can be easily configured to show only essential time tracking information. Customer support is very responsive to suggestions
Cons
Early version, still some minor issues. Seems to be incompatible with older printer drivers of the HP CP 1510 series. Driver updates are neccessary to prevent frequent crashes.
Summary
Helpful if you are looking for a time tracking tool that supports a "less is more" attitude.

Pros
Extraordinarily powerful time and project management program (including calendaring), with stellar time-tracking. Developer very responsive, and the program is actively developed.

The program has so many features and is so configurable that it can take a while to master them all, although mastering the basic functions is easy.

Worktime Studio (WTS) is a truly remarkable time- and project-management program. In addition to task and project management, WTS provides stellar time-tracking capabilities and powerful calendaring options. All of these functions are seamlessly integrated, so you can track projects you're working on during the present while scheduling future projects in the calendar (inter alia). A remarkably wide variety of reports, filters, and prioritizing options is also available, so you can control your tasks and projects instead of having them control you. Both the power and configurability of Worktime Studio are staggering, and the interface is beautiful. The developer is also very responsive to user suggestions, and I have already seen such suggestions make their way into newer versions of the program. In short - highly recommended!

Pros
Very easy to begin using - the interface is very intuitive and easy to get started with right away. The various views and screens are well thought-out and it is easy to see the portions you need and then click them out of the way.
Cons
Haven't found any yet - possibly not suited for large complicated projects, but for an easy to use interface at an unbeatable price - it exceeded my expectations.

Pros
The flexibility and options helps me to adjust it to my needs. It gives me a visual printout of what I am doing. Working for myself means a lot of hours (sometimes walking that extra mile for the client). Now I can see when enough is enough.
Cons
You could be fooled by the cheap price in thinking that the product will not live up to expectation and I hope that this will not discouraged people to buy it. They might lose out.
Summary
They come with a strategy "Divide and conquer". That feeling of being overwhelmed by a task (not knowing that it is actually a project, divided into tasks) can make you want to stay in bed. This program helps me to formulate a project and I can tell with accuracy how long it will take me in the future to complete at specific task. I can jump from the calendar view, day, week month to see what I have been doing. Or Copy a project and past it so I can use it for a new customer. I have even added a task field for family time and it is an eye opener. I am 38 and do not know how many hours/days/weeks I have lost. Life is to short and if I do not manage it, it will fall right through my fingers. Thanks to Worktime Studio I will have a better quality life. And yes you will still have to learn the ins and outs of the program, but it will change the ins and outs of your life. Thank you Berend
