Words With Friends - Play Free APK for Android

New Words With Friends comes with an improved interface and more social features, making it an engrossing title that's hard to put down.

Pros

Engrossing gameplay: New Words With Friends quickly grows on you. Arranging letters on the game board to create words and score more points than your opponent becomes an irresistible struggle.

Highly replayable: You can play with a friend, with someone new, or sharpen your skills with the offline solo play mode. Either way, your detailed profile stats, the integrated leaderboard, and the fun chat you can use during games add a social dimension to the game and make it endlessly replayable.

Sharpens your language skills: By constantly playing this game you expand your vocabulary, so finding the right word becomes easier. The Word of the Day and built-in dictionary provided by Dictionary.com are really easy to use.

Cons

No tutorial: Although pop-ups show you the features, such as the chat or profile stats, the lack of a straightforward game tutorial means that if you haven't played word games before, you must play solo for a while to get used to the interface and figure out how to maximize your score on the game table.

Log-in issues: The app got stuck when we tried to log in with our Google account, so we had to use the email sign-up option.

Ads: The banner at the bottom of the screen takes up precious space on a smartphone. There's no paid option to remove it.

Bottom Line

Fun, addictive, and educational, New Words With Friends will keep your mind sharp and your fingers glued to your smartphone or tablet. Whether you're a fan of word games or not, this is a great title to try.
