This virtual word-search program helps test your powers of observation, although its small library of games is a definite minus. The Word Search demo provides only five puzzles pertaining to computer parts, hobbies, pasta, trains, and animals. You can easily select a puzzle via pull-down lists both on the main menu and within the actual game. We were glad to see a few basic options for customizing Word Search's appearance, including the ability to resize the game and change the background color. Word Search can provide youngsters with a quick brainteaser, but due to the rather small amount of puzzles, it probably won't hold long-term appeal for more experienced or older players.
