STILL NOT REALLY FREE-

It works, if you only have 9 PCs.
Cons
The claim that it is "Free" is a blatant bold faced lie. It is "free up to 9 PCs". Want unlimited PCs? Go ahead and pony up the $495 fee. Pass on this.
Summary
If you want to support developers that lie about their products go ahead- Download, install, pay and rock on. If not then search a little for a free program that does everything you want like SoftPerfect Network Scanner- it is really free.
Not free, doesnt always work

Pros
Collects macs and names from the network with ease
Cons
IS NOT FREE. More than 10 PCs? Youll have to pay $200 for a full license now. What a joke. Too bad they dont tell you that up front.
Summary
If you have money to blow, download this free program then pony up the $200 to make it usable. If you do not then pass on this just "okay" solution.
Works but forgets MAC even when stored in the INI file

Pros
It was able to start my Win XP Home ed. Dell PC over my wireless home network on a Toshiba Vista 64bit laptop as long as the Wake on LAN setting was updated in the BIOS on the Dell.
Cons
Unfortunately WOL 1.0.3 was unable to remember the MAC address on the PC to turn it on again. The WOL.INI file stores the MAC, but the program forgets and changes the MAC to all zeros when closing and restarting.
Summary
Good for occasional use, but I'm going to look for something that remembers my PC every time.

Fast, resolves MAC by IP or Name, worked first time once the NIC is set up correctly.
Cons
Future versions should "remember" the last used address from the .ini file and load it automatically. A one-click option would be nice . . .
Summary
A well thought-out utility, does what it says, incorporating it with their remote shutdown utility (now command-line only) would be a nice touch. All in all, very pleased considering what other utilities claim to do. Also, this works from my Vista laptop.
Tool is simple, quick, easy, small and does exactly what I needed.
