  Summary

  Great software that does exactly what it says. I converted somewhere over 300,000 wmf files and this program was surprisingly quick. It can have some issues if you really load it up with over 50,000 files at a time, but, if you don't start getting impatient and pushing buttons too fast it will do ok most of the time. I actually was able to convert over 300,000 .wmf files at one whack and it did fine. My only issue turned out to be a mac issue of not being able to display the .eps thumbnails fast enough. I ended up doing about 3 sets of conversions on the same 300,000 files trying to troubleshoot the "missing" thumbnails. Again, this was a Mac issue not WMF converter Pro problem. Well worth it if you wish to preserve your .wmf files.

  When it works, it converts WMF files well... WHEN IT WORKS.

  This program is so buggy and unstable I am embarrassed to say I paid money for it. I am using it to batch convert some old Clip Art CDs from WMF to EPS, and the program doesn't seem to know how to count the number of files it's going to be converting. You drag a folder into it to convert, and if it doesn't crash first, it will give you one number. Drag that SAME folder in again when you restart the program after it crashes, and it gives you a completely different count. Now, having said that, if the program doesn't crash and you want to add more folders in for conversion, sometimes it'll just become completely unresponsive. You drag a folder in, and NOTHING happens. You drag in another folder. Nothing. A restart of the program is required.

  Summary

  This program isn't worth paying money for. Either browse your WMFs on a Windows machine or don't bother. I emailed the developer a request for help using the form on their website and they couldn't bother themselves to write back to me. I have a program that I can't use. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
