Enhanced Edition revamps The Witcher 3's mechanics for a fresh, challenging experience. It's aimed at veteran players seeking a more realistic and less forgiving playthrough. Expect smarter enemies and a world that doesn't hold your hand.

  • Pros

    • Combat feels more visceral and less like a dance | Magic is easier to cast in a pinch | Fixes many vanilla bugs and glitches | Graphics get a noticeable, modern bump

  • Cons

    • Requires DLCs to even run | Incompatible with most other mods (dealbreaker for some) | Have to start a completely new game, wiping progress | Script Merger is a known source of problems
