This effective application converts temperatures from Celsius to Fahrenheit or from Fahrenheit to Celsius. WinThermO's cleverly designed interface sports a realistic thermometer with only a few options to choose whether it converts from Celsius or Fahrenheit and the number of decimal points (up to four) you want included in the result. Enter your number in the top box of the two offered, hit Convert, and the result is instantly displayed in the lower box and on the thermometer. You also can drag the mercury up or down on the thermometer and the conversion values change as it's moved. We especially like the "Useful terms found under" list, which gives an overview of both temperature scales and shows average temperatures for a wide variety of areas including the Earth and its atmosphere, safe food storage and cooking, and the human body. This handy freeware tool is recommended for any user who wants a quick way to convert from one temperature scale to another.

Measure temperatures and convert them between various units.
A temperature conversion and display utilility. The lifelike thermometer graphic with adjustable scales, shows conversions. Drag the thermometer mercury up or down, and the conversion values scroll with the movement. Comes with an extensive list of useful temperatures arranged in categories (eg. Atmosphere, Earth, Human Body, Metal Melting Points, Oven Levels etc) which can all be represented on the thermometer. Great for reference and education.
