  For context I want to mention here that I also installed software through zdnet, although not the URL vulnerability patch, reran the scan, and the scan software still said I needed to download the software I just installed. This occurred after restarting my computer. Does not seem to work very well.

  Your software scan indicated that my Windows NT Workstation needed the Windows NT Invalid URL Vulnerability Patch so I downloaded and ran Q271652i.EXE When I ran the software scan again after I intalled the "patch" for Invalid URL Vulnerability the software scan still reported that I needed that patch. Apparently the software scan did not recognize that the patch was already installed. This raises the question in my mind of whether any other recommended updates are already installed but not recognized by your software scan. This is a major defect, since it very much undermines the user's confidence in using your product, and greatly reduces its effectiveness. Please advise when this defect will be corrected.
