A regular menagerie, this screensaver features 50 lovely photos of animals, ranging from bears, monkeys, and tigers to butterflies. We were pleased with the variety of transition effects provided between pictures, but found that some of the images themselves were marred by JPEG overcompression. The program allows users to set how often images are switched, change the order of appearance, and switch the transition effects. Any image can be put on the computer's desktop as wallpaper, and it can be changed automatically every hour. The download does not come with its own soundtrack, however, and the trial version displays only a few images. Nevertheless, nature lovers may well be pleased with the plethora of images presented here.
