Welcome to Whack-A-Word, the exciting fast-paced word recognition game. The rules are simple. If it's a word, whack it. One by one 'words' appear on the screen. Some of them are real words, but others are fakes. If you can whack the real ones and eliminate the fakes, you win. But each time you make a mistake, your word remains stuck on the screen. As the game goes on, the words come faster and the mistakes start piling up. Finally, the game ends when there's no room for a new word to appear. Whack-A-Word chooses its words from a 200,000-word dictionary, and offers you a choice of three different methods for generating its fakes.
