Excellent for beginners.

Pros
It's a very light and simple HTML editor. Not many bells and whistles at all, so it's not confusing. You'll love this editor if you just want to edit a few things and save and go. It already provides a few Tags (head, title, body etc) to get you started; so beginners could definitely use it to edit their own pages. You can even preview pages before saving them or just to look at your progress. Since computers nowadays come with trials of Frontpage, the preview feature is a definite plus.
