WebDrive integrates FTP, FTPS, WebDAV, SFTP, OneDrive, SharePoint, Amazon S3, Google Drive, or Dropbox into the Windows desktop by making your web server appear as a network drive. This allows you to use your favorite applications to edit files and save them directly to the server. The WebDrive client includes proxy server support and many advanced FTP features like resume interrupted download, Auto ASCII/Binary transfer selection, and Unix file permission support. WebDrive also has SSL and SSH encryption capabilities for secure file transfers and Digest Authentication support for WebDAV servers.

Pros
None. Windows version is almost everything you could want, though.
Cons
This list is for Webdrive on Mac. -Cannot follow symlinks. Confirmed by customer support. What FREE or paid SFTP utility doesn't support *nix symlinks on a Unix-based OS? -No option to manually clear cache, you must disconnect/reconnect -The text editor, Sublime Text 2, does something to trigger a silent connection/cache/misc? within Webdrive. Your connection is dropped, but there's no notification, nor entries in the debug log. -No ability to connect/disconnect to a remote site with the menu bar icon. Without this, there's barely a reason to keep the icon in the menu bar. -No folder ability in the connection manager. -File corruption with saving in single user mode. I ensured there's no other process using the file. I didn't research this issue extensively, but it's odd that it goes away in multi-user mode. -No file synchronization. -Most settings available in the Windows client do not exist on Mac. I don't care so much about this, considering the problems above.
Summary
WebDrive on Mac is light years behind their Windows version. Even at a lower cost, it's not worth it. I've used the Windows version for years, with very few problems, and it is highly capable. Calling their Mac equivalent "WebDrive" is an insult to the original program. "WebDrive" for Mac is already at version 3, it makes me wonder what version 1 did. I love the Windows version, I can only hope they one day put effort into making the Mac version reach parity with it.

No delay or lag from this client at all. - Simple Configuration: Easy to configure & start using, also allows access to more advance configuration settings if needed. - Diverse Support: wide support for protocols & cloud providers. - Integrated Backup: Can schedule automate backups. - Caching: allows for files to be cached locally for faster access.
Cons
- Cost: Home / nonBusiness users, cost is high. Especially when licensing for a small number of users.
Summary
Great product all around, I have not seen a single application crash or file corruption. It meets all my technical needs and provides me the convenience of connecting to my home-based Linux servers' filesystems as if they were local. Great for mapping a drive to my ownCloud instance via WebDav while on my home network. I tested multiple WebDav clients, and few were able to match the file transfer speed of WebDrive. All this capability and also being able to map my drives, completely removes the complexity of working in the 'cloud'.
It does everything. Best in category.

It just works. Works with automation and scripting. Works from the command line or GUI. Connects to everything, never crashes. Perfect appliance tool.

Summary
It Just Works and stays out of the way. Does everything we ask it to do and never lets us down. It's invisible because you just don't have to fsck with it.

Summary
I have been using Webdrive now for about 5 years and upgrade every time the program changes. I use it primarily to update my websites and have each of the most important ones mapped to a different drive letter. Working with a mapped drive is just like working on my own hard drive except for a slight delay. Once the drive is mapped using it is so transparent that I usually forget I am FTPing using mapped drive. I have used it to access cloud storage and it works flawlessly although this is not my primary use. Using Webdrive saves me a lot of time. It gives me the option of editing files directly on the server or changing them locally and then copying them to the mapped drive. I have tried sever other similar products but this one is the best.
It's a must have for web developers.

1. Supports all standard ftp security protocols 2. Once connected, it shows up as normal hard drive. e.g. K:/ 3. You can set/change the hard drive letter at anytime. 4. Lots of nice options. e.g. Connect at login/starutp. 5. Works great with Scooter Software's Beyond Compare file **************
Cons
Although free upgrades are limited to the first 12 months. After that you can still download bug fixes/patches but upgrades have to be purchased. Windows only. There is a Mac version but I haven't been successful with it.
Summary
As a Windows web developer, I often need to upload/download everything from a single file to entire sites. WebDrive makes it easy.
Best product on the market to connect to remote storage

Pros
We tried just about every other offering on the market to connect to our webdav service. Some of them seemed to work well until we discovered they were not properly caching or worse truncating the files. Since installing WebDrive from South Rivers, we have not reports of missing or corrupt information. Their platform has worked well on thousands of small files on some 1GB+ video files.
Cons
There is no lifetime license. Would be nice if you could buy a fixed set of seats no matter the operating system.

Pros
We've been using WebDrive to manage our client sites for over 4 years. It is an integral part of our operations and in our mind the best FTP software available. Support is outstanding.

Pros
Our remote users needed a way to easily browse the distributed storage we implemented using Amazon S3 buckets. WebDrive makes it easy for them (and for us) since each bucket appears as a drive letter.
Cons
The cost seemed high initially, but over time we have recognized the value in a solution like WebDrive.
Summary
We are big fans of an approach like WebDrive. The IT department gets to take advantage of the many benefits of using Amazon S3 while our users get an easy-to-use method of access. This is the best of both worlds.

Mac-version is still not on-par with Windows version.
Summary
WebDrive make local-drives (E:, F: etc.) with remote-server content from FTP, SFTP, FTPS, Amazon S3, WebDav etc. WebDrive makes web-development easier, I have several drives mapped connected to several web-projects.

Pros
Webdrive makes it easy to edit your s3 files. It comes with a decent backup utility for backing up your PC files to s3. I have also used if for s-ftp files and it works fine.
Cons
offline files are a little quirky.
