- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I can think of a few good uses for this. I'll look forward to the ability to click links, or at least click the "window" and go to the same URL in Safari that WebDesk is displaying. I agree that the window sizing/positioning is a little primitive, but once I get it set up, I don't forsee having to change it that much. Please allow less than 5 min reload intervals! I'd prefer 1 min. Although I've found that web pages with auto-refresh code in them will refresh themselves at their specified rate. And since it isn't really embedded in the desktop, and you can't hide this app, there's no way to get to icons behind the web page. It would be great if you could "crop" from the top of the web page the way you essentially can from the other three sides. Anyway, there's a lot of potential here, which is why I had so many comments/ideas.

Unfortunately, I can't interact with the page on my desktop -- it's just a static render of the page. I suppose this has its uses (webcams, news, etc) but it's also a pain to position because you have to do it numerically. Not for me, I guess. Also, it gives off a faint impression of ActiveDesktop (shudder)
