  Now my wife can monitor our children activities via the web cam when she is on work via her PC.

  If you use dial up or having dynamic ip address, then you may need to have hostname to point to your dynamic IP. Just register from those "no ip" website, and create a host for your localhost, normally will be 192.168.1.XXX:8080. You may also read the manual provided in the download. Read the Q&A section at the website provided in the manual book for details, it helps.

  This program is awsome for free XP software, and it is easy for moderatly savy users to config.

  I have no stability issues the others had, PS do not run this on old versions of windows earlier than XP

  It doesn't have any ads in it. Nothing gets installed, just delete the folder when you are done with it

  I made a HTML page to refresh a call for the image and then I went and complicated things with a fade script but, every time I get back to working on it, it doesn't work again. It crashed my XP fiercely, bringing up a blue screen. After reboot it alerted me that windows had recovered from a serious error. I think its because I unplugged my camera before exiting <p>WebCam2000

  I tried this product and under no circumstances could i get it to stay on for longer than a minute. It crashed my whole system more than once.

  It does exactly what I wanted it to do. All I had to do was get some javascript to refresh the page. So all you people whinging about the refresing, it's not hard to get the script! It works brilliantly on my weblog. Highly Recommended to everyone with a webcam. It's fantastic for free.

  Simply tell it what device to broadcast, and on what port. It basicly shows a freeze frame, so if you have it reset every second, its like watching a video with slow framerate. Pretty good though.

  got it running within 5 mins. dead easy to setup instant success. Got cam focussed on catflap and everyone at work was watching my cat. Absolutely priceless entertainment. Software is stable and does what it says on the box. I must get a fixed IP address. Well done the author

  This product allows you to do a lot, it will even setup its own web server to listen on any given port so that you can pick up the latest pic just by using a web browser. It will also do movement sensor! and more!!!

  I've used this program for years on Win2K and XP. It never gave me any problems. Great little app that uses nearly no resources, and it's free.
